The Hunger Games: Catching Fire - Katniss speech to district 11

I just wanted to say that I didn't know Thresh, I only spoke to him once. He could have killed me, but instead he showed me mercy. That's a debt I'll never be able to repay. I did know Rue. She wasn't just my ally, she was my friend. I see her in the flowers that grow in the meadow by my house. I hear her in the Mockingjay song. I see her in my sister Prim. She was too young, too gentle, and I couldn't save her. I'm sorry.

REFLECTION FOR THE AUDIO MOCK INTERVIEW

An epic failure, that's what I would call it. I was kind of disappointed in myself, because I believed in my fluency even when asked to answer a surprise question. But I was busy to think of what to say and so, I made many grammatical mistakes and stuttered a lot, which I don't usually do.

I couldn't help but thinking, "What if it was a real interview?" And it made me sigh. Definitely it was the moment that I finally came to see the reality that was veiled out of my ego and groundless confidence.

But on second thought, "Would I have done much better than this if I was to answer in Korean?" Hmm... possibly just a little bit better. Then what is the problem? - Background knowledge about myself. Somehow I came to a conclusion that I'll have to memorize background knowledge about myself, so that I will have no difficulty when I think of what to say.

SHELF PROJECT : THE SECOND

One question after watching "Tell me about yourself video"

I perfectly understood what it meant to say - When asked to talk about myself, it should be relevant to what the interviewer wants to know, which is EES. There's one thing I can't really understand though.

When you're in an interview, mostly you present your resume to the interviewer. And why do you have to talk about something that's already in the resume and why does the interviewer expect to hear the same thing?

In my opinion, it should rather be including what characteristics you have and what your personality is like, as the interviewer doesn't have any background knowledge about you except the information in your resume.
